The new Martin Yale UC5500
Pharmacy Shredder is designed and manufactured with the
pharmacy and pharmacist in mind. Designed to fit under
pharmacy counters with wheels for easy mobility, the UC5500
features push button start with
automatic shut off when cycle is complete. Quite
operation allows the machine to be used during the course of
normal business, so as not to interrupt
pharmacists consulting with patients in person or on the
phone. The UC5500 destroys pill and syrup
vials / bottles, adhesive labels with
patient information on them and has a paper slot that can except up to 10 sheets of copy paper.
The UC5500 also features auto stop &
anti-jam and auto reverse and includes an internal automatic
oiler
for maintenance free operation. The UC5500 eliminates the need
for expensive outside shredding services and limits your exposure to HIPPA
law violations. The UC5500 is made in the
USA.
